In 2019, she became Director of the office. She is board certified in pharmacotherapy, and is an active member of the Missouri Pharmacy Association (MPA), American Pharmacists Association (APhA), American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), and the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP). Gattas's volunteer leadership has been most extensive with APhA as a past officer and a fellow. She served as the PGY1 Community-based Pharmacy Residency Program Director from 2011 until 2020. She was the recipient of the 2019 Joe E. Haberle Outstanding Educator Award, the highest teaching honor given at St. Louis College of Pharmacy.
