Interesting Facts

My specialty is primary care. My practice site is the South County Health Center, part of the St. Louis County Department of Public Health. My APPE students and I see patients alongside attending physicians and help through collaborative practice agreements for the management of diabetes and insulin titration, smoking cessation, asthma/COPD, anticoagulation, hypertension, and opiod use disorder.  We also help the attending physicians with drug selection, monitoring, and dose titrations.

I currently live in Shiloh, Illinois with my husband, Jim Bollmeier DVM. We own Four Paws Animal Hospital in O’Fallon, Illinois. We have two children; Grace and Charlie who keep us extremely busy with their active sports calendars.  We also have three dogs; Maizy, Scruffie, and Lily; three cats:  Sydney, Ghost, and Puma; and about 12 salt water fish.

In my spare time, I enjoy golfing, swimming, water skiing and wakeboarding, reading, cooking, baking, and exercising. Jim and I also love to take the kids to exotic destinations all over the world.
